Our Commitment
At Baran Armor Systems, we build armor to be trusted. While no armor can guarantee protection in every situation, we stand behind the quality of our workmanship and materials.
Manufacturing Warranty
Baran Armor Systems products are covered by a limited warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
This warranty covers defects such as:
- Construction flaws
- Material defects
- Assembly issues
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Cosmetic damage
- Improper use or storage
- Damage caused by modification or alteration
- Damage resulting from misuse or negligence
Ballistic Impact & Service Life
Ballistic armor is single-use once impacted. Any armor that has stopped a projectile should be removed from service immediately, even if no visible damage is present.
Armor performance can degrade over time due to environmental exposure, wear, and handling. Users are responsible for regularly inspecting their equipment.
Saved Your Life Replacement Program
If a Baran Armor Systems armor plate is used in a legitimate real-world defensive incident, we will replace the impacted plate free of charge, subject to the conditions below.
To qualify for this program:
- The armor must have been used in a lawful defensive incident
- The user must provide reasonable documentation, such as a police report or official incident record
- The impacted armor must be returned to Baran Armor Systems for inspection
If approved, we will provide:
- One (1) replacement plate of the same model, at no cost
- Shipping covered by Baran Armor Systems
This program applies only to the original purchaser and is limited to one replacement per plate.
This program is offered as a goodwill commitment and is not an admission of liability or a performance guarantee.
Warranty Void Conditions
This warranty and replacement program are void if the product has been:
- Modified, altered, or disassembled
- Used outside its intended purpose
- Damaged due to improper storage or maintenance
Any modification may compromise performance and safety.
Returns
Due to the nature of ballistic protective equipment, some items may not be eligible for return.
If you believe you received a defective product, contact us before using it so we can evaluate the issue and determine next steps.
How to Make a Warranty or Replacement Claim
To initiate a warranty or replacement request, please contact us using the information provided on our website and include:
- Order number
- Description of the issue or incident
- Photos (if applicable)
- Supporting documentation (if required)
Requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Baran Armor Systems shall not be liable for injury, loss, or damages arising from the use or inability to use our products.
Use of ballistic armor involves inherent risk and is undertaken at the user’s own responsibility.
